DID YOU KNOW?...
Dave says "I worked for many years, then recently I have had a few health problems (heart, bad knees, bad back, lung removed). I am a big guy, 6' 5", around 345 lbs. and I can't do most of the things I loved doing when I was younger but I don't let it get me down. I have been married for 15 years and with her for 20 years. My wife's name is Tina and we have 2 kids, Chris-19 and Heather-16. We have 3 dogs-2 Shih-Tzu's and 1 terrier. We live in a big house in Danville, Illinois.
I spend most of my time on my computer, watching movies, playing video games and surfin' the net. I watch TV, mostly movies and sports. We go to our friends houses every now and then. We have cookouts in the summer, in our backyard. I coach 3rd base on our friends softball team during the fall. I walk as much as I can, which isn't a lot. I play Fantasy sports online, like baseball, football, hockey, NASCAR.
Right now, I am in the process of teaching my daughter how to drive. She is doing great, a lot better than her first time out....lol...she needs 50 hours of driving and she has 11 so far. I'm letting her do it in stages, every 10 hours, by learning in traffic, highway, daytime, nighttime, weather conditions, backing up, parallel parking and telling her how to work on different things like filling gas tank, filling oil, filling radiator, stuff like that.
Anyway, that's about it for me. I don't go to church BUT I do believe in God. I pray everyday, I am thankful to be alive. I grew up in church, went every Sunday and Wednesday. I believe this world would be a better place to live if we, as human beings, would put God back into things and our lives.
May God Bless ALL of you and your families and may the best of your past be the worst of your future.
Have a GREAT year and Go, Dale Jr.
