Lou Demian is the President and founder of Lucky Dog Racing. He created the league on Feb. 17, 2004. He wanted to start a league because of his love of NASCAR, thrill of competition and felt like doing a little something different from all the other online fantasy leagues. He did a lot of searching and realized there are lots of really badly run leagues out there. Some are good, but the bad ones out number the good by far. He hopes Lucky Dog Racing can become one of the elite leagues out there. While he could have hundreds of people in the league, he feels that a more tight-knit league with a limited amount of members in each series, provides for much better competition. It also allows him to devote more time towards stats and extras for each series. Quality over quantity is his philosophy.

He's gone to 6 NASCAR races so far. Three times to Pocono, once to Daytona, once to Dover and once to Lowe's. He's also gone to a few races at the local track, Wall Speedway. He attends the MotorSports show every January in Atlantic City, NJ, formerly Fort Washington, PA. He also has a huge collection of cd's, dvd's and Dale Jr., Dale Sr. and Martin Truex Jr. diecasts.

Lou married in November 2004 and shares in the interest of NASCAR with his wife, Gwen. Lou originally chose Best Buy as his car sponsor because he's always buying cd's and movies there. After Best Buy signed with Jeff Green for the 2006 season, he switched over to Oreo Cookies for the 2006 & 2007 season. In 2008, Diet Pepsi Max comes on board.
