Membership Selection
The waiting list is ranked by the sign-up date of a prospective member. A member will be selected for replacement in the Sprint Cup Series or Nationwide Series by the following factors: If a spot opens after the 5th race of the season, the highest member within the top 10 of the next series below will be asked to move up if they choose. If all members within the top 10 are already in the Higher Series, the first member on the waiting list will be chosen. At the conclusion of the season, whichever member finished within the top 10 will be chosen. After all top 10 finishing members are chosen, waiting list members will then be taken. This will be in effect until the 5th race of the season.
A Nationwide series rookie must complete an entire season before they can be called up to the Cup series.
The Nationwide series may add 2 additional members each season until they reach a maximum of 54 members. Membership turn-around the previous season will determine if the series will expand the following year.
Truck series members will be added strictly from the waiting list.
If a member is already in Lucky Dog Racing and leaves the league entirely, their name will be deleted from all waiting lists. A member would have to apply for re-entry into any league and their name would go back onto the waiting list from that date.
