The Chaser Eraser Contest Is Only Available To Playoff Drivers!
How To Play:
The object of the contest is to pick the highest finishing playoff driver for each race.
For the first 5 races of the playoffs, you will choose 2 playoff drivers. The highest finishing driver will give you points for their finishing position. If they win the race, they will get 40 points. The points will go down for there, with last place receiving just one point. There are no points for leading laps. The other driver won't give you any points and will be eliminated. You can use a driver for the entire playoffs until that driver is eliminated.
For the final 5 races of the playoffs, you will choose 3 playoff drivers. The highest finishing driver will give you points for their finishing position and the 2 lowest drivers will be eliminated.
You can continue to play this game even if you are eliminated from the playoffs at any point.
If a member picks a driver that has already been eliminated during the playoffs for them, they will receive 0 points for that week. Eliminated drivers for each member are displayed on this page. The lowest scoring driver or drivers will be recorded as an eliminated driver. If they choose two drivers that have been eliminated, the highest driver in the NASCAR standings that they have not yet picked will be eliminated.
Each player must pick 2 drivers in the first half and 3 in the 2nd half. If they don't choose enough... the highest driver or drivers currently in the Cup standings prior to that race will be unavailable to them for the rest of the playoffs. If a player picks more than the allotted amount of drivers that week, only the highest driver or drivers in the standings will be used.
If a member misses three weeks of not submitting picks, they will be removed from the Chaser Eraser.
The winner of the contest will receive a special award on their page, receive a free year in the Cup Series and be offered a spot to play in the LROC Series the following season. Note: The winner of this contest can only be invited to LROC if there still is an open spot. If the LROC champion is a Lucky Dog Racing driver and they did not qualify for next season by any other means, they would get the spot.
Additional Note: The winner of this contest will receive a free year in Cup but Xfinity and Truck leagues cost additional fees if you are playing in them next year.

Todd Oliver easily cruises to a Chaser Eraser win
Todd Oliver started at the top of the standings in week one of the Chaser Eraser and never looked back. He spent all 10 weeks in front and had everyone chasing him. Todd mostly benefiteed from Martin Truex Jr's good finishes but even when Truex wasn't the top finishing playoff driver, he was able to get the job done. Todd picked six winners during the playoffs including four in a row to record a total of 390 points.
Last season the maximum amount of winners picked was four. The total points of the winner was more last season by Jessy Turgeon but only because we dropped the total to a maximum of 40 this year.
There wasn't any change in the top six players in the final week since they all had race winner Martin Truex Jr. Behind Todd it was Kelly Wolfe who also finished 2nd to Todd in the standings as well. Lou Demian took 3rd place.
Todd gets a free year in the league along with a special award on his page. He also gets an invitation to the LROC series but that's also because he won the Cup championship of course.
Congrats to Todd who had a great year in the Cup series!
